Synopsis:
Art is a wickedly witty portrait of modern art and old fashioned friendship. Three prosperous, middle-aged, longtime friends come to blows over the value of a very expensive piece of art. Reza's play is essentially about the concepts of friendship and value, and the way in which the two can cause conflict. Serge has purchased a work of art which has cost him dearly - two hundred thousand francs. His friend Marc is loathe to believe that any friend of his would spend so much money on what to him is merely a white canvas. Another friend, Yvan, serves to try and calm the dispute...
